I can't wait to try the recipe for Perfect Potato Salad from Jo Kaucher's new vegetarian cookbook, The Chicago Diner Cookbook. Named after the 20-year-old Chicago restaurant (www.veggiediner.com, 773.935.6696), the book includes the restaurant's most popular dishes such as Lentil and Tempeh Shepherd's Pie and Home Fry Potato Deluxe. Roger Ebert once gave the Chicago Diner a thumbs-up!
