The US integrated circuit manufacturers Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Intel Corp have renewed their long-standing patent cross-licensing agreement.

Specific terms of the new ten-year agreement are confidential. Since 1976 the two companies have now signed four patent cross-licensing agreements.
